Customer Service Receptionist

|Duties:||Provide quality customer service and record keeping at the front desk. Make reservations for clients to board their pet(s) using appropriate communication with clients in person and over the phone. Utilize computer database program to process reservation requests and maintain client and animal records. Maintain professional contact with veterinarians and other service providers in order to obtain complete animal records, including medical and vaccine history. Complete daily reports and procedures. Ability to accurately handle monetary transactions at check out and for Retail purchases. Keep the front office area clean and organized. Communicate needs, issues, and concerns to Lead CSR on a daily basis. Report urgent customer service or personnel issues to Lead CSR, Assistant Manager, or Manager immediately. Maintain compliance with Center policies and procedures including departmental, safety, and personnel policies. Assist fellow employees and other departments as needed. Follow safety and sanitation policies throughout facility in order to maintain HWAC standards of excellence. Maintain compliance with HWAC policies and procedures. Participate in Center activities and events as required. Complete other assignments as required. Represent HWAC standards of professionalism.|

The employee must be able to perform the following tasks, among others:|
Minimum 6 months receptionist experience including multi-line phones or other customer service experience preferred. Basic computer knowledge required. Must possess professionalism, courtesy, tact, and sound judgment. Must have good verbal and written communication, customer service, and prioritization skills. Must be detail oriented and organized. Able to work and participate in both a team and self-directed environment. Must be able to work closely with animal (dog, cat, exotics) hair/dander. Experience with dogs and cats preferred.
